A National Lottery Community Fund project
We are pleased to be able to recruit a qualified and experienced counsellor to join our team to work with adults who have experienced childhood sexual abuse or exploitation. This project is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund for 18 months. The work will be both 1-2-1 and through a group programme. You must be experienced and trained in working with historic trauma and in working both individually and with groups.
In addition to the highest quality therapeutic skills you must also be able to demonstrate your experience in the related aspects of project work such as raising the profile of the project locally, monitoring take up, measuring value and impact for funders and reporting outcomes internally and to stakeholders.
All appointments will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance, employment references and a six-month probation period.
Salary: £24,500
Hours: 35 hours per week
