Janette Carr - Chief Executive Officer

Hello, I joined Compass in May 2021, and it is a privilege to join such an established and highly valued organisation.

My background includes clinical, managerial, and commissioning roles in the NHS and the Third Sector.  Alongside the Board of Trustees, my role is to support the staff team, and our wide community of volunteers to maintain the existing high standards of service provision.

Our aspiration now is to develop and expand our services, by doing this we will be able to broaden our remit and provide support to a wider community.

Helen Moore - Learning and Development Manager

Hello – I have been a member of the Compass team since 2014 when I joined the organisation as a Volunteer Counsellor.

My main role now is leading our Learning and Development Team.  We deliver accredited courses, both online and face to face and be-spoke training packages to our partners and other organisations.

My job also entails being Safeguarding Lead and Deputy to the CEO, as well as assisting in the management of our sessional counsellors, conducting client assessments and allocating clients.

Suzy Mather - Operations Manager

 Hello – I joined Compass in January 2019 in order to manage the smooth running of the office and the administrative team.  I handle client allocations, and diary management for the team and counsellors. I deal with all the financial transactions of Compass and complete grant applications as well as liaising with counsellors and clients alike. I am motivated to helping move Compass forward though our social media profile and website in order to assist in advertising the important work that Compass does. 

Kelly Hawker - Senior Administration Officer

Hello – I joined the Compass team in November 2019 in order to support the volunteer and staff team to underpin the smooth running of the office.  I am front of house to our clients, providing friendly and efficient information about our services and taking referrals.  I liaise with our counsellors, on room bookings and all other aspects of the administrative support across the board to ensure the day to day running of the office is done so effectively.

I work closely with the Operations Manager, support and manage the allocating of clients to counsellors. I am responsible for the production and maintaining of processes and procedures across the services to ensure, consistency and quality of business operations are met.

I am self motivated and enthusiastic in delivering my role and providing a caring nature to our clients.

 

Cecilia Pinto - Adminstrative Assistant

Hello! I joined Compass in the summer of 2024 as an administrative assistant to support the Compass Team in all aspects of administrative processes.

I believe Compass Counselling plays a vital role in our communities, and all staff and volunteers give their best to ensure our clients are at the heart of our services. Therefore, I am highly motivated to bring my extensive work experience and passion for helping others to this role by assisting the management team and every staff member and volunteer in all administrative aspects.

I aim to provide effective communication and liaison between clients, counsellors, staff, and management, ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date efficiently and promptly. I am also proud to be the face of Compass, whether behind every phone call or email, embodying the values and conduct expected by our organisation.

As an addition to the office team, I am eager to share my insights to help enhance systems and procedures, thereby improving administrative operations and contributing to the excellent service Compass Counselling offers to the community of Liverpool.
