Earlier on this year, at the start of the first national lockdown we received some invaluable funding from the Steve Morgan Fund to help Compass continue providing our vital counselling services.
In the last week we have received a further grant from Steve Morgan Fund in order to help Compass grow forward during this pandemic and provide our counselling to the people of Merseyside into 2021! We want to say a massive THANK YOU! to the Steve Morgan Fund for believing in Compass and allowing us to help so many people.
The money is part of a £20 million fund that has made a whopping £11 million in grants in the space of a few weeks to charities such as ours that need assistance during the Covid 19 outbreak.
The Community Match Fund challenge whish consists of £10m from the Department of Digital, Culture, Sport and Media and £10m match funded by Steve Morgan Fund.
The £10 million from the DCMS comes from a new £85m Community Match Challenge Fund and is part of the Governments £750 million support package for charities.
Compass offers telephone counselling and will very shortly be offering video counselling though an online platform and this grant will be hugely beneficial to us, so to both the Steve Morgan Fund and the DCMS- Thank you!
