This is a nationally recognised programme, running across 90 hours of teaching, usually delivered over 30 weeks.

This qualification is for:

Those starting the first level of training as a professional counsellor

Those who want to learn counselling skills in other professional or helping roles

Those who want to improve their professional and personal relationships as part of personal development

This qualification could enhance employment opportunities or increase employability for those whose role is to support others in e.g. Health and social care work, teaching and learning, advocacy and mediation, support and project work and other helping roles.

Course commencing
12th September 2024  – May 2025       9:30am- 12:30pm
Time: 1-4pm
Duration of course: 30  weeks ,  90 guided learning hours
Location:  LCVS, 151 Dale Street, Liverpool, L2 2AH plus some online classes.
Attendance Requirements: 80%
Cost: Course cost: £1110,  This includes £182 CPCAB registration fee.
Other details: Access to Zoom is required for the evening course and in the event some /all of the course moves online for the daytime  ( instruction can be given).

Deposit £100, followed by £657 on commencement of course in September 2024 and £353 in January 2024.
