Sponsored walk on behalf of CALM

By 23rd October 2019 Uncategorised

Overnight on the 26th/27th October 2019, one of our counselling volunteers Colin MacGregor will be walking 20 miles from Greenwich via Big Ben and back to Greenwich along the south side of the River Thames to raise funds for CALM’s life saving work.

CALM is a charity that supports men in crisis, and is a leading movement against suicide, which is the single biggest killer of male’s aged under 45 in the UK, leading to the deaths of 18 men a day.

We are very proud of Colin for undergoing this difficult walk in support of such a valuable charity.

Compass, as a charity that deals with providing counselling support for individuals, including those that maybe suffering suicidal thoughts, we understand how important it is for people to have a safe place to share their feelings.
